During my recent escapade to Guwahati for the Durga Puja festival, I had the pleasure of staying at the Greenwood Guwahati - A Luxury Boutique Hotel. Stepping into the hotel felt like being welcomed into a beautifully curated sanctuary, where every corner echoed a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional Indian design. My queen room was impressively spacious, equipped with a flat-screen TV and a lovely seating area, perfect for unwinding after a day of festival excitement, especially appreciated as I explored the local culture with a few fellow filmmakers and friends. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise; not only did it feature a buffet of both Indian and Western options, but the coffee was simply fantastic-certainly a great way to kickstart our ambitious days of shooting. The staff, always warm and accommodating, seamlessly adjusted our bookings for queen beds, ensuring our stay was as comfy as possible. The hotel's location was spot on; it made us feel right in the heart of the festival's vibrant energy, while the peaceful ambiance of the property itself provided a much-needed respite. I highly recommend the Greenwood Guwahati for anyone looking to experience luxury while immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of Assamese culture.
